At North Glencoe, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church. They’re a huge part of it right now.
That’s why Kid City was created to be a safe, exciting, and faith-filled environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus while having an absolute blast.
From energetic worship and Bible lessons to games, friendships, and hands-on activities, our goal is simple:
Help kids know they are loved by God and loved by this church family.
Whether it’s your child’s first Sunday or they already know every volunteer by name, we want them to walk through our doors feeling welcomed, safe, and excited to come back.

We know dropping your child off somewhere new can feel big. That’s why every Kid City volunteer completes:
Background checks
Training and screening

For Parents
We’re here for your whole family, not just your kids.
Need a quiet moment with a little one?
We also offer:
A comfortable nursing room
Cozy seating for parents and children who may need a break during service

Sunday School Begins at 9:00 AM
Sunday mornings begin with age-based small groups and Sunday School classes where kids can build friendships, ask questions, and learn about Jesus in a more personal setting.
Then, during the adult worship service, all Kid City ages 4-5th come together for a larger group experience filled with:
Worship made just for them
Bible teaching kids can actually understand
Games and activities
Fun, connection, and encouragement
And yes! Kids stay in Kid City throughout the worship service so parents can fully engage in service knowing their children are being cared for in a safe and meaningful environment.

The fun doesn’t stop on Sundays!
Wednesday nights at North Glencoe are one of the favorite nights of the week for many families.
Starting at 6 PM, kids gather for:
Interactive Bible lessons
Worship
Friendship-building
Games and activities
Midweek encouragement and community
It’s a great way for kids to stay connected, grow in their faith, and build lasting friendships throughout the week.

Donna has a heart for kids and a passion for helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus in a way that feels fun, safe, and meaningful. As a mom to three grown boys and soon-to-be grandma to her very first grandbaby, she knows just how important it is for children to feel loved, encouraged, and supported as they grow.
From Sunday mornings to Wednesday nights, Donna works hard to make Kid City a place where every child feels welcomed, safe, and excited to come back. Whether she’s leading a Bible lesson, helping calm first-day nerves, or cheering kids on during games and worship, her goal is simple: helping kids know they matter deeply to God and to this church family.
She loves building relationships with families and creating a place where children can laugh, learn, grow in faith, and truly feel at home.
